The Wooden Nickel in Silverton, Oregon, has been a popular gathering place in Silverton for over 60 years. Every Saturday night The Traeger Pellet Grills help them deliver their famous mouth watering Slow Smoked Prime Rib. Along with the tradition of offering Prime Rib, the Nickel has been hand-crafting smoked German sausages since 1999. They offer these sausages in a variety of Wooden Nickel signature dishes like our spicy jambalaya.

Cherry City Ice Creamery
Cherry City Ice Creamery can be found at Salem’s Saturday Market. Lani and her Mom spend their free time churning unique and creative ice cream flavors to please all ages and all palates. Some of their creations include Black Cherry Soda Dark Chocolate floats, Blueberry Cheesecake, Chunk o’ Churro, and they have even been know to concoct flavors using Salem’s local Gilgamesh Brews.
Junior’s was one of the first taquerias in Salem when it opened at the intersection of Jefferson and Fairgrounds 14 years ago. And the first place to go all out and take a risk with home-style cooking from the state of Michoacan. Victor is the proud proprietor of Junior’s and you are likely to find him working behind the counter. He has built a good business with a solid following. Victor comes from Patzcuaro, one of the prettiest towns in Mexico. A painting of the Plaza Grande in Patzcuaro hangs on the wall, and the menu features some typical dishes from Victor’s hometown.

Gilgamesh Brewing recently opened The Campus, located at 2065 Madrona Avenue SE in Salem. The recently renovated 18,000 square foot building features a restaurant pub offering lunch and dinner menus as well as their signature brews, local wines and hard cider from Wandering Aengus Ciderworks.
